The sparrow hawk migration has just started and the best places to see them are Sarapiquí, Siquirres and Guapiles.

The best time to see at the sky and look for air currents that are used as a trail to miles of sparrow hawks and turkey vultures is from 7:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.

They travel from North America to Argentina to avoid winter season. They return to North America on April to avoid south’s summer season.
