The Unique Educational Experience

Hacienda Pozo Azul is a model ranch were we worked our agro-activities in complete harmony with nature, giving visitors an extraordinary and unique experience in sustainable principles.

The farming activities and nature practices we offer for your benefit and educational experience are:

80 heifers and calf raising operation were all waists are used to feed worms to transform this waist in rich humus to produced organic black pepper and keep our gardens beautiful.

A butterfly farm and garden were you will learn all about these magical insects.

A 400 acre green seal reforesting project, next to the Braulio Carrillo National park, using native species of trees, which are already being used in ingenious ways in all our buildings.

The Lodging

 

Cuculmeca

A comfortable tent camp with capacity for 100 people, with 2 sets of bath houses and 2 multi-use large decks to use in meetings, workshops and . Located on a tropical forest with tents mounted on wooden decks and protected by strong canvas.

Only 200 meters from the Sarapiquí River and with 7 acres of fields for all types of outdoor group activities and groups activities.

Magsasay Lodge

An old plantation house transform into a lodge with 9 rooms with capacity to house 35 guests in cuadruple occupancy.

Located at the North entrance to the Braulio Carrillo national Park in a 1400 acre property bordering the park with all types of activities and facilities at 8 miles from the reception building.
